Who can become a member?
Employees who work at organizations, agencies, and institutions of Anabaptist denominations in the field of communications are eligible for membership in Anabaptist Communicators. These denominations include, but are not limited to, Mennonite Church USA, Mennonite Church Canada, LMC a Fellowship of Anabaptist Churches, Mennonite Brethren, Church of the Brethren, Brethren in Christ, and Conservative Mennonite Conference.
In addition, any individual who is Anabaptist, or is an Anabaptist supporter, and is working in non-church communications is eligible to become a member of Anabaptist Communicators.
Members include, but are not limited to: Artists & Photographers, Broadcasters, Editors & Publishers, Educators & Administrators, Event Planners, Freelancers & Consultants, Graphic Designers & Web Developers, Students in Communications, Videographers & Filmmakers, Social Media Specialists, Writers & Journalists, and “I do it all” Communications & Marketing Professionals.
What are the membership fees?
An individual may become a member for a $50 USD yearly fee. There is a $25 USD yearly membership fee for retirees and students. A company or organization may decide to offer a yearly membership for five members for $200 USD. Membership runs calendar year.
All members are required to supply Anabaptist Communicators with their contact information including current workplace, email, and phone number.
What is the value in becoming a member?
Anabaptist Communicators is the only professional group that caters to those working in a broad spectrum of communications. It also offers members the opportunity to connect with like-minded people of faith.
